This review cannot even describe how pleased I am with the services that Frisco Feeding and Speech Therapy provided for my son. In particularly Alexis Petty, our Speech Pathologist, was so wonderful from the beginning to the very end. I wish I could continue with their services but scheduling conflicts require us to look into the ISD services instead. I am so impressed at the progress my son has been able to make with his speech and I truly believe it is 100% thanks to Alexis' dedication and expertise. My son enjoyed his sessions so much that he looked forward every week to them. This is a testament to how Alexis carried out the lessons and her focus on a playful and rich learning environment. Thank you Alexis and the Frisco Feeding and Speech Therapy team, you've really had a huge impact on my son's speech and his development.

Our pediatrician recommended FFST for our two year old son; it was very easy to schedule a speech evaluation, and we were able to begin services immediately. Ms. Loryn was very friendly, and was able to easily build rapport. She provided very helpful tips and strategies for us to implement at home, and we were pleased to see progress within our first few sessions.

Enjoyed working with Tamika. She helped resolve feeding issue with my newborn. We will go back to her if we have any further problems. She’s very patient and spends the time to understand the situation and see what is happening and helps to find a solution. Highly recommend her for your baby’s therapy.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Keri as a feeding therapist for my young toddler and I must say, it was an incredible experience that paid off. From the very first session, Keri created a warm and nurturing environment that made my little one feel comfortable and at ease. She had a deep understanding of my child's specific challenges and tailored her approach accordingly. Her patience and compassion shone through as she gently guided my child through each feeding session, which she always made fun and engaging (so they felt more like playtime). She incorporated various techniques that not only encouraged my child to try new foods but also provided me with the tools and guidance that I needed at-home. Today, my daughter is successfully chewing, swallowing, and open to trying new foods. I finally feel at ease that she's getting the calories and nutrients she needs to grow up healthy.I would highly recommend Keri as a feeding therapist to any parent seeking help with their child's feeding challenges. Her professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for her clients truly sets her apart!

My daughter was referred here by her pediatrician and we were very unsure how food therapy worked but we were reassured once we called. Scheduling was very easy and the front office staff was very helpful and friendly. We were set up with Keri as our therapist and we absolutely love her. She has been so compassionate and helpful with our journey into food therapy. Not only is she there to help with feeding problems, but she has also been building a bond/ relationship with our daughter to create a fun & safe environment for her. I have already seen a change in my daughters feeding habits. We are so thankful we were referred here and were set up with Keri!

Tamika is WONDERFUL. She is warm and welcoming, a top-notch professional, compassionate, calm, reassuring, genuine and kind. She has a wealth of knowledge but has a skillful way of breaking it down for easy to understand guidance and advice. She taught me crucial things I hadn’t gotten from the hospital IBCLCs like the right bottles/nipples for successful breastfeeding, suck patterns and training exercises and more. She also helped me get the right flange size for my breast pump. She truly knew and did it all!She always made sure I felt confident leaving our sessions, and often answered questions via text or email. I knew she truly cared about helping me and my baby in our feeding journey. I felt comfortable with her, like no question was silly- as though I was chatting with a trusted friend. My time with Tamika was an invaluable resource as a first time mom navigating the challenges of feeding my baby. I owe so much of my breastfeeding success to Tamika and my weekly time with her; I cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend FFST. We were referred for food therapy and it was such a positive experience. Scheduling was super easy and we were set up with Sarah as our therapist. She was amazing and so helpful throughout our time there. My daughter has made so much progress and this has given us the learning tools we need to continue our feeding goals at home.

we went to Frisco feeding and Brittany was our therapist , I can not thank her enough for what she did for my child , she is perfect , very professional , very knowledgeable , she pointed straight to my child issues with significant lip , tongue as well as buccal ties , we had significant speech\feeding delays as my son was missed diagnosed by his pediatrician who did not even look once at my child mouth even though we were complaining about him having feeding difficulties since day 1. My whole point is if your child needs help Brittany is the one who can make a change. I'm so glad we met and worked with her. Keep up the great job Brittany 🙂

This place is great! They didn’t have anything available when we needed to get in for an evaluation, but they worked their butts off to make sure I could get in asap! We worked with Ariel during our time there and she was great. She’s very knowledgeable and welcoming. Our daughter had lip and tongue tie, we started therapy with her at 3 weeks old and is doing great now!

We see Leah Hogan for Executive functioning and have for several years. Leah also hosts a social group that has been amazing at implementing our individual sessions.Without her, we aren’t sure we would see the amazing progress we have in our teen. I highly recommend frisco feeding and speech!!Don’t sleep on an opportunity to connect with their team. We have done feeding therapy with Cierra, and social skills and executive functioning with Leah. They are a dynamic duo!!

Frisco Feeding and Speech is a wonderful therapy office with caring therapists and a clean and pleasant environment. The therapist Tamika has been such a help to my son this past year. He went from saying words to now sentences and feeling more comfortable speaking. She is so caring and makes therapy so much fun for him that he looks forward to going each week. She always makes time to speak to me and discuss my sons progress either at the session or via text. She always goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for amazing therapists in a clean and fun environment.

We have seen Leah for a couple years, and she is beyond amazing (everyone we’ve come into contact with is wonderful though). She cares so much and is so helpful and thorough in answering parent questions and finding ways to connect with your kids. She is constantly learning new ways to help as well so has a wide range of skills to fit any child’s need. She is also a fantastic advocate to talk to your child’s school.

Keri Schoenemann has expertly helped my 8 yr old daughter learn how to use her "inner coach" to help with her sensory feeding issues. We have learned how to see food in a different way rather than yucky or gross. It has been a step by step, gradual process over the past 8 months. C has learned that she is in charge of what goes into her mouth and that she isn't forced to eat something or go hungry. She uses a 0-10 scale to let us know how she perceives a certain food, whether it is easy or hard to eat. Keri started with the basics and built on them each week at C's two sessions. While C isn't a fan of a lot of foods still, we have successfully been able to eat at multiple restaurants over the past 2 months without too much push back. Just going out to eat at a nicer sit down restaurant made my day. I am so thankful for Keri. Her compassion and patience with children is evident in every decision she makes. She uses bright color markers and draws cute pictures and C loved that part. You won't go wrong with Keri or Frisco Feeding and Speech Therapy! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Feeding therapy at a young age is difficult enough, add to that a teenager, set in their ways, with anxiety and it’s almost impossible. Theresa was the best fit for my son. Not only did he reach his goal with the therapy, he walked out with mental development and tools for the future. I would highly recommend Theresa for feeding therapy.

Tamika was wonderful to work with and a wealth of knowledge about my Jackson’s grade 4 tongue tie. We had a lot of struggles with him eating and she walked us through it all. We finally got to the root of his issues and were able to fix all his feeding issues. Appreciate her so much. If you are lucky enough to get Tamika, you and your child are in great hands : )

We have been clients of Keri at Frisco Feeding Speech West for a little over two years. Keri feels like a family member. She knows what goes on in our lives in as much detail as what goes on during each session. Keri is a pro with ARFID! She always has new and fresh ideas, remembers everything, makes goals that are challenging but achievable and makes each session fun and entertaining–not just work. She has been a constant for us–reliable and dependable every week. Keri keeps us anchored in place. Can’t imagine where we would be without her. Keri is THE BEST!

Frisco Feeding and Speech Therapy is amazing! Our 3 week old was having difficulty bottle feeding and our pediatrician recommended we have a feeding evaluation done. Tamika was our Speech Therapist and she is incredible with babies. She was calm and so helpful during our journey to get our son to eat better. It's so stressful when your baby doesn't want to eat or can't eat well and Tamika helped us find ways to hold him and help him eat better. Not only was it therapy for our son each week when we saw her but it was therapy for me too! I looked forward to our weekly sessions.

Keri has been amazing! It’s been so wonderful seeing the way her and my son have clicked and built this foundation/bond. The growth he has had with her is incredible. To think back on my son only being able to use two word sentences is unrecognizable he can talk non stop now. Keri has not only helped him with his communication but has also helped him learn how to navigate everyday social interactions. I’m always so excited to share the skills that they’ve been working on play out in everyday life. We are forever thankful for Keri 💜

My 2 year old daughter attended and graduated Frisco Feeding & Speech Therapy. Everyone there created a positive atmosphere and everything went smoothly. After an appointment with my pediatrician where we discussed feeding and speech concerns for my daughter, I decided to reach out to Frisco Feeding & Speech Therapy. They were very quick to respond to my initial inquiry, and had my daughter evaluated soon after. My daughter saw Nicole as her SLP and we absolutely loved our time there. Nicole was patient, respectful, and caring towards my daughter. She was also very helpful explaining things we could work on back at home. If you’re looking for a warm and welcoming environment for your child to receive services, I highly recommend FFSP!

We are so grateful for our time at Frisco feeding and Speech Therapy. We saw Tamika for feeding therapy for my 1.5 year old and she was a life saver. She was so nurturing, kind and knowledgeable. She helped us gain the skills we needed for my son to thrive and in about six months of weekly appointments we were able to be fully discharged! He is now eating like a champ, no longer has hesitation around meal times and we both feel confident with his nutrition. He has gained weight and is fully off of the toddler formula we were relying on when we started. We are happy to report that he now gets all of his nutrition from his meals thanks to he the help we received from Tamika. We cannot thank her enough!

Keri was very helpful in my baby feeding therapy. She helped me understand some of the ways i could do to help my baby eat better

Let me start off by saying my son has been in speech therapy since he was about 2 years old due to speech delays as he was diagnosed with autism when he was 3. So, we have seen many different therapists. We just moved to the area and decided to give FFST a try as they were recommended by his ABA center. My son began working with Maggie, and I must say she is amazing. She is so sweet, patient, and kind. Also, she really cared about our son, and the best ways to help him. We have seen progress in his speech, with him being able to request for more things than he has been able to do in the past. I highly recommend Maggie with FFST. She will listen to all your concerns, and do her best to help your child!

I had great experience getting the help I needed with being able to successfully breastfeed! I worked with Tamika and she was incredible!
1684515482
My son was born with a pretty significant lip and tongue tie that he had released at 1 week old. He struggled with not latching, then a poor shallow latch, and had trouble gaining weight the first few weeks of his life. I struggled with breastfeeding and had to pump and bottle feed often which he also struggled with due to fast nipple flows and reflux. His pediatrician gave us formula to supplement with to maintain his weight and recommended we get evaluated at Frisco Feeding & Speech Therapy. I was about to give up breastfeeding completely cause I was so discouraged. We were paired with Ciera Gianni. She’s amazing! She is so welcoming and knowledgeable. She has an answer for everything you could possibly ask! And she is always right! Each week I brought a list of questions and concerns and she was happy to address them all! She would do mouth exercises with him and teach me so that I could do them at home until our next appointment. Each week I saw improvements with my son’s latch and if we had any issues she always found new things to try which always helped! We finally got him latching and eating again after a few weeks and he just completed his therapy! Breastfeeding is a million times better now and we are not only going to make my breastfeeding goal of 6 months, but now I have extended my goal to make it to at least a year if not longer! My son is thriving now because of Ciera and I’m so proud that I didn’t give up and that I am able to breastfeed him now! Thank you FFST and Ciera!

Tamika's help got my babies to take a bottle which I was desperate for after waiting too long to introduce one. She's so knowledgeable, encouraging, and super helpful. I brought both boys to her; she analyzed why we might be having the issue, made suggestions for fixing, and followed up nicely. She helped me get them taking bottles within 1 visit. They also got me in faster than anywhere else I called. Super accommodating. Forever grateful! Deal! 😉

Thanks to Ms. Katie's skill set and expertise, our son has made significant progress. We couldn't be more pleased and proud! Our son has improved his articulation and how well he’s understood by others, which is vital for his kindergarten readiness. Thanks to Ms. Katie and crew!

We had a wonderful experience with Frisco Feeding and speech. My son has a hard time interacting with anyone outside of his family. Brittany made it a very easy and great experience to help him feel comfortable and at ease. We saw her for feeding and speech, twice a week. Unexpected events would arise from time to time and she was able to accommodate a new time or day. My son grew to love her and asked about her even on days we had no appointment. Due to our out of state move, we’ve had to come to an end. I have seen my son grow tremendously, both verbally and with expanding his food interests. I know if we were able to stay longer, he would of been able to completely finish his therapy goals. Going from barely eating one or two things to having a variety of fruits, vegetables, grains, etc and from one or two words to full blown sentences, amazes me on how far we’ve come.
1654211272
Breanna helped so much and my son looked forward to going back each week. She made treatment fun and educated so that we could continue to work with him at home. Great SLP

1685985256
I highly recommend this place! Our little guy had eating issues and had therapy before at another place and it wasn’t helping so I found frisco feeding and within the first day we established my sons level and Brittany came up with a plan for him. He is now eating and food is fun and he is not vomiting every time he eats due to textures. He loved his therapist Brittany. She made it so fun and easy for us to learn and help my son at home. There was zero judgement on what we feed or how we eat at home. She was accommodating in the way of making his surroundings how we’ve always done and she never told us to do it different or feed him differently or foods she would have preferred him to have! She was fantastic and that’s all you can ask for. She really really helped us.
1680574008

She makes it exciting and she is so patient with him. If you’re looking for a wonderful OT, Lindsey is the right person. She is a bright light & our son adores her!

I started working with Ariel to help my daughter with her breastfeeding and bottle feeding struggles. My daughter was 3 months old when we started the therapy and 8 months old when she was discharged from the clinic. In those 5 months with Ariel, my daughter not only showed such a great progress with breast and bottle feeding skills but with solids and straw cups as well. Ariel made it very easy for me to perform exercises at home as she explained the techniques in the simplest form, gave detailed reasoning behind each and every exercise and let me practice with her.Ariel is very knowledgeable and always trying to put missing pieces together to find the root cause of an underlying issue.I have learned so much about feeding from her that would definitely help me in the future.I am so glad that Ariel was my daughter's therapist. She made sure that my daughter was comfortable and happy during all the sessions. We wouldn't be where we are today without her guidance and support. Ariel is amazing with babies and I 100% recommend her!
1685470629
Our son started with frisco speech around 2 years old and he had a vocabulary of a few dozen words. He wasn't picking up new words and was getting frustrated with communication. Within a few months his therapist, Sarah, had him progressing right a long. Now he's like a sponge picking up new words and phrases. Thank you for all your help over the last 2 years.
1703276027
I reached out to FF&ST with concerns that my 2 month old had a tongue or lip tie, as she was struggling with eating. Tamika affirmed my suspicions, set us up with stretches and helped us find a qualified dentist to evaluate for a frenectomy. She shared her functional evaluation with the dentist and supported us before and after the surgery with stretches and wound care. Her guidance and support were vital in ensuring a successful procedure and in giving me peace of mind that I was doing what was best for my daughter.
1686357671
Ciera Gianni is amazing! I would highly recommend Ciera to any new mom looking for a lactation consultant & feeding support. I started seeing Ciera two weeks after my daughter was born and I'm so grateful for her support, advice and help. Ciera was very thorough in her evaluation and provided helpful tips, resources and exercises each week to support and strengthen my daughter's oral motor skills. I saw significant improvement each week we worked with Ciera. Ciera is extremely knowledgable, compassionate and responsive/reliable. She always followed up our sessions with an email recap and resources. I don't know what I would have done without Ciera's support!
1690836075

My son attended FFST for a year. The entire staff is so patient and works well with each kid and their needs. The therapists take time after every session to give you feedback on your child’s development and an update on progress. We worked with Katie and she was excellent. Great communication, always happy and so kind. I would highly recommend bringing your child here if you want a friendly team who delivers results.

I love this office. The staff by phone are always helpful with scheduling and insurance questions. We had the best experience with our ST Alexis! My son had so much fun in each session. Alexis listened to all of my questions and concerns, and worked hard to figure out what works best for my son. We are forever thankful!

Mrs. Tamika was absolutely wonderful to work with. From our first consultation, she immediately identified the issues our son was experiencing and she created a plan. My son loved his sessions with her. Mrs. Tamika is patient and kind and very involved in sessions. She assisted in providing us additional resources and referrals. As a result of seeing Mrs. Tamika, my sons tongue tie and feeding issues were addressed, and Mrs. Tamika even recognized other issues related to his tonsils and referred us to a specialist. I cannot praise her enough! My son is now eating better, and has no more functional limitations regarding chewing and eating food. Mrs. Tamika is SPECTACULAR!!! In addition, the office staff is also very kind and was always quick to respond to my calls or emails if I ever had any questions. My son is currently attending their summer camp and is also enjoying it very much.

My daughter’s speech therapist, Theresa, has been nothing but amazing with her. Her speech has developed so much that words we did not know existed in her vocabulary has us dumbfounded in recent times. My daughter has come to love and trust her so much that she later did not require us to be in the room with her during her sessions. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking about speech therapy and specifically Theresa as your therapist.

We so enjoyed working with Ariel! We started seeing her when our daughter was just 3 weeks old, and we were feeling very helpless about her feeding issues. Ariel gave her such kind and patient care, and was eager to answer all of the (many!) questions we had. We were impressed by how dedicated she is to her clients, and she is always willing to go the extra mile to think of a new solution or get us information we needed. Our daughter is now eating beautifully, and we are so happy we got the opportunity to work with Ariel!

I worked with Tamika for my son starting at 7-8 months while introducing solids. He had a tongue tie that we were not able to correct as an infant, and this was contributing of a number of feeding issues for him. While working with Tamika, we were able to successfully introduce different foods and textures without constant gagging and choking. She recommended correcting his tongue tie which also worked wonders for him. Our son made such amazing progress with therapy and was a completely different kid at the end. We can’t thank Tamika enough!

When my son was paired when Miss Ciera joined FFST, it marked the beginning of a transformative journey for our family. Not only has my son gained valuable skills from his time with her, but as parents, we've also acquired essential tools to apply beyond the therapy sessions. Miss Ciera's commitment to our son's progress is evident through her post-session discussions where she explains the specific skills he's developed and how to implement them.Miss Ciera possesses a remarkable ability to communicate with our son on his level, ensuring he never feels overwhelmed or shut down. This tailored approach empowers him to be in control, make decisions, and offer his input, resulting in noticeable improvements in his flexibility. Her use of relatable language to describe how the brain thinks and reacts makes the learning process both enjoyable and meaningful.Miss Ciera has taught us the importance of patience in the journey of brain retraining. She has made us realize that lasting and effective change takes time. This insight has been invaluable, and it reinforces our belief that the skills and tools our son is acquiring will serve him throughout his lifetime.

I can't say enough good things about what Frisco Feeding & Speech Therapy (Prosper location) has done for us in a few short weeks. I will forever be grateful for our Speech Therapist, Allison. She's helped us find answers and we've accomplished more in ~6 weeks than I could have ever imagined! I highly recommend attending the sessions with your child (if allowed/appropriate) so you can learn alongside them. Allison was willing to provide us with knowledge, tools and support to use outside of the therapy clinic, which I very much attribute to our progress. Thank you!!

We had the BEST experience with Ariel! Our son went from not saying one word to a speech explosion and vocabulary you wouldn’t believe in just 10 months. We started early (at 22 months) because our son experienced “trauma” after his third hospitalization (16 months of age) with reactive airway disease and his surgery for tubes (12 months). We just didn’t want to continue to wait and see if he’d start talking on his own without professional help. Ariel quickly identified his needs, was very knowledgeable and professional. Our son at 2.5 can name every planet in the solar system, constellations, identify all his colors, knows the letters of the alphabet and the sound it makes, all his numbers, animals and sounds, and so much more. Not kidding! He talks all day now. Don’t wait and give your kid the opportunity to learn early to where they love it! 🥰 can’t say more amazing things about Ariel. Also, the office staff is amazing at scheduling, helping reschedule or cancel and they really know what insurance covers.

We went to see Tamika about 3 months after my son was born, and we continued to see her until he was about 9 months old. My son is almost a year old now, and going to see her is still one of the best things we’ve done for him. She helped us fix issues that we were having with breastfeeding, and she started us on our journey with solids. As a first time mom, the guidance and support she provided was invaluable. She was always willing to listen and help us make changes that worked for us, and I always felt like she cared about my son and our progress. I don’t know that we would still be breastfeeding without her. I really can’t say enough good things. If you feel like something is off in your feeding journey, go see Tamika. You won’t regret it.

She has a skillful way of breaking it down for easy-to-understand guidance and advice for both my boy and myself. Tamika at FFST was the best thing to happen to me two weeks after my son was born. I was so discouraged at the beginning of my nursing journey and worried that my son had a poor latch or that I wasn’t producing enough, but after a couple of sessions we were improving significantly! Not only is Tamika fantastic at her job she is also understanding at the adjustment period many mothers go through when planning or driving as a new party of two. She was amazing and I’ll miss seeing her every week!

We have been going to FFS for two years now! The administrative team is wonderful and are always very communicative. My son goes for feeding therapy and Ariel Vovakes is our therapist. She has always been an advocate for my son and is amazing with him. The techniques and methods that she and the clinic stand behind are respectful of the child's wants, needs, fears and anxieties. We have overcome so many hurdles over the last two years and REFUSE to go through anyone else! We are now working with Sarah as well for speech and am very excited to see all of the progress we'll make with them both!

Ms. Maggie is an excellent speech therapist. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She is one a kind, very sweet and thoughtful towards our son. Every session she was able to come up with new methods to help with our son's speech and even taught us skills to be used at home. She also did a lot of research to identify which methods can be more beneficial for our son. Within a couple of months our son was able to say some of the alphabets, numbers and was able to identify colors. Overall, we had a really good experience with Ms. Maggie and we definitely recommend her.

We have had the most amazing experience with Ms. Brittany at the McKinney location for that last three years!!! The level of care, passion and knowledge Ms. Brittany and the team at FF&S has provided has second to none. You are in trusted hands here!
1689371403
My son (2yrs) has been under the care of Ciera Gianni, since he was 5 weeks old. She worked with him weekly to overcome feeding struggles with his dysphagia diagnosis as well as feeding issues that arose from severe lip and tongue tie complications. In December, our son qualified for speech services, and there was no question that we would stay with Ciera for that, too. She has walked us through some of the most difficult times as parents over the last two years, always listening to and validating our concerns when we have noticed new struggles at home for him. Additionally, she has proven to be a strong advocate for our son when collaborating with his other doctors and providers. She is solution-minded and has never left us feeling like we were on our own on this journey, but instead has joined hands with us to figure out the best plan of action for our son at any given time. She sets reasonable goals for him, and has adjusted them when she feels it is necessary. Our son adores her and has become so comfortable around her as she has been such a valuable, constant person in his life these last two years. As a mother, I can't ask for anything more than a provider who loves our son and celebrates with him as he overcomes challenges in his life. Ciera has been all of that and more for our family.
1694486391
We had such a great experience at Frisco Feeding and Speech Therapy. Ciera was so patient with my son and after about 4 months of weekly sessions, my son was discharged!Ciera taught me how to implement her techniques at home and guided me through introducing new foods, textures, etc. Feeding and meal time was extremely stressful prior to therapy, and now both myself and my son are so much more confident. So thankful for Ciera and FFST!

My son was very blessed to have Ms. Brittany as his speech pathologist. She is very amazing at what she does, and definitely excels at establishing relationships with the children. Her ability to relate, assist, and guide parents through being able to navigate through the complexities of speech delay is most definitely her calling. My wife and I enjoyed our experience seeing our son progress under the guidance of Ms. Brittany. He started at around the of 1 3/4 years old and was having difficulty speaking, establishing eye contact, and basic communication skills. He is now 2.5 years old and is able to speak much more words than when we first started, as well as establish appropriate purposeful eye contact during social interactions. We will forever be grateful for Ms. Brittany and are saddened to have to part ways due to conflicting schedules on our end. We highly recommend Ms. Brittany for any parent seeking assistance for their child in speech!
