Early Childhood Speech & Language Developmental Norms

Early therapy intervention has been proven to help children with speech & language delays and communications disorders.

Children are unique and develop speech & language skills differently.  The following early developmental norms can provide parents with interesting insights into how their child compares to typical developmental levels that can be expected at various ages. Although these developmental norms are not a substitute for a comprehensive evaluation of a child, this normative information can be helpful in identifying children who are not progressing with their speech & language skills as expected.
